Dietary Patterns and Blood Biochemical and Metabolic Parameters in an Italian Population: A Cross-Sectional Study

چکیده

Diet has long been identified as a major determinant of cardiovascular and other chronic diseases. In this study, we assess the relation between adherence to different dietary patterns biochemical metabolic parameters well 10-year risk diseases (CVDs) in community blood donors Northern Italy. We their four patterns, namely, Dietary Approach Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet, Mediterranean diet through Greek Italian Indices (GMI IMI) Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay (MIND) using validated semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (FFQ). then association with CVD spline regression model. found an inverse DASH MIND diets total LDL cholesterol, triglyceride HDL cholesterol values (IMI GMI). Additionally, according our sex-stratified analyses, men who have greater decreased all patterns. The results suggest that positively influences parameters, thus reducing developing disease delaying use drug treatments.
